counting from first day of last period. 
this is the most fertile time. 

no pregnancy is likely to occur if sex was to take place 7 days the 14th day counting from first day of last period. as egg will not be present. or 7 days before the 14th. 
sperm can live up to 5 days in the right conditons .but this is on a 28 day cycle. 
it is possible to have ovulation change - to any ovulation calender without notice. so proctection is always a must 

few days before period is least fertile time.
