there are 3 types of solutions:

1.) the saturated solutions- this is when a solution contains the maximum concentration of a solute dissolved in a solvent.

2.) the supersaturated solutions- if a saturated is one where solute can no longer dissolve in a solvent. it is one that contains more dissolved solute than could usually dissolve in the solvent.

3.) the unsaturated solutions- the solute concentration is lower than the solvent.
