It actually depends on what genre and what music type you are asking actually. if you were to say like a random music type, or something like similar, i would say it depends on us. the music actually calms or even excites the soul of humans by simply listening to it, but some of us tend to be more 'negative' towards it. if you were to say like pop, jazz, classic, etc., people tend to have different reactions. we don't know who likes this music genre, nor do we know what they hate. we are humans, unique in different ways. if you were to ask my opinion, i would definitely say solemn on classic, and jazz. people express emotions in actually different ways, for example:
»your listening to pop. your soul feels a bit excited or even liking the rhythm of the song«
that means you felt like you love the song, hence your expression you can show was pure happiness, wonder and excitement. here's another example, but this time it's an opposite reaction:
»your friend forced you to listen to jazz and rock. you felt discomfort and most of all a bit more of frustration over it.«
that means you do not like the song at all, hence trying to avoid it seems a bit hard when your around with friends or even family. your expression would be either disgust, skeptical and of course discomfort
these are just examples of how i experience, but it's up to you to know how you feel whenever you hear music. this is my opinion, i hope you understand : )

"Bayan Ko" (Spanish: Nuestra Patria, English: My Country) is one of the most recognizable patriotic songs of the Philippines. It was originally penned in Spanish by the Revolutionary general José Alejandrino, and translated into Tagalog some three decades later by the poet José Corazón de Jesús.

The song, which is a kundiman, is often considered the unofficial second national anthem of the Philippines, and is sometimes sung by Overseas Filipinos groups after the Lupang Hinirang or by itself. It is sometimes assumed to be a folk music because of its popularity, and due to the nature of its lyrics it has been used as a protest song by different political groups at various points in Philippine history.
