Explanation:Smokers are likely to be more vulnerable to COVID-19 as the act of smoking means that fingers (and possibly contaminated cigarettes) are in contact with lips which increases the possibility of transmission of virus from hand to mouth.Smokers may also already have lung disease or reduced lung capacity which would greatly increase risk of serious illness. Smoking products such as water pipes often involve the sharing of mouth pieces and hoses, which could facilitate the transmission of COVID-19 in communal and social settings.
Protection from corrosion.
Beneath the paint or finish of a car is a bare metal of a car body. We know that over time, paints and finish dry out, crack and peel. Once they do, the metal is exposed. To protect the car, a thin protective layer made of softer metal but is more resistive to corrosion, is deposited on the car body before painting. Thus making the car body more resistant to corrosion.
Add: why not make the whole car out of this less corrosive material? Because this material is too soft. So it takes twice or more amount of this metal to match the stiffness of current material used in car bodies. This would then raise weight and cost of the car.
